Mediclaim Insurance is a cover,which takes care of the medical expenses of the insuranced in respect of the following situations.
a.In case of a sudden illness.
b.In case of accident.
c.In case of any necessary surgery,in respect of any disease,arisen during the policy period
Applicability:Any individual person including his/her family members can be covered under this scheme.
Coverage:Reimbursement of Hospitalisation/Domiciliary Hospitalisation expenses for illness/diseases or injury sustained.
Age:Min/Max Age 0-70 years.
Family Discount:A discount of 10% in the total premium is allowed for insurance of family comprising spouse,dependent children and dependent parents.
Limit:Premium upto Rs.10000/- p.a. is deductible from taxable income.
Cumulative Bonus:5% bonus on each claim free year subject to maximum accumulation of 10 claim fee years of insurance.
Tax Benefit:Under section 80D,the premium paid is directly deducted from the Gross Annual Income (taxable income).

Min 25 hrs stay is compulsory.
Paid health check up once in 4 years,if no claims.
Intimate us immediately on taking in hospital.
Policy valid for a maximum of 1 year.Can be renewed every year.
